Check laptop warranty by serial

Choose the manufacturer and type the serial. Lenovo can also run a bulk CSV check. Serials are not stored in a database. Anything we keep in memory is deleted every hour. Unofficial — confirm on the OEM site. Fine print.

7–12 letters and numbers. ThinkPads are often 8 characters, like PF••••••.

Where is the serial?

  • ▸ Bottom of the laptop, near the regulatory label
  • ▸ BIOS / UEFI: F1 or Enter at boot
  • ▸ Windows: Settings → System → About, or wmic bios get serialnumber
