  • Is the device connected to this computer?
  • Did the browser and Windows both allow the mic? (Settings → Privacy → Microphone)
  • Is Discord, Zoom, or OBS closed? Exclusive capture hides the device from this tab.
  • Is this mic the default in Windows sound settings? Exclusive mode off?
  • Tried another USB port on the PC, not a hub? Wireless: new batteries or re-pair?
  • Tried a newer Realtek / USB audio driver, then a reboot?

Playback output

Playback uses the browser default speaker or headset. Some browsers hide output devices.

Playing a take through speakers with the mic live can loop. Use headphones to judge the recording.

Speaker beep

Beeps stay in this tab. Left should only come from the left driver, right from the right. Use headphones if the room is loud.
